Believe me, as the temperature drops, the first thing we all want is to feel warm. In this compilation, I gathered my favorite essentials that will surely warm you up on cold days and nights. The great plus of these staples is the stylish appearance that upgrades your outfit by making you look stylishly awesome. All the showcased designs are functional and ideal for wearing in cold weather season months. All you need is to be creative and strategically mix and match your basics creating marvelous outfits that will turn heads on the streets. Anyway, keep on scrolling down your mouse to see my list of winter must-haves.
The first piece that popped into my mind is a winter hat. There are lots of great designs to buy this year, starting from beanies and trapper hats to wide-brimmed fedoras, bowler hats, and sailor caps. Personally, I recommend keeping your ears in a warm beanie hat. Of course, if you are heading to a formal event, then you probably need something more elegant than a casual beanie. Another great accessory that will keep your neck warm is winter scarf. There are plenty of styles to choose from, as you can go for an elegant version that will underline your individuality, or keep things cool and boho-inspired by wearing chunky knit and big knitted scarf. There are great color options, as you can try on a solid color version that will ideally suit your dress and tailored coat, or keep things fun and bright by wearing brightly colored design. If you don’t want your hands to feel the cold winds, then you need functional winter gloves. You can either choose knitted mittens or keep things elegant and sophisticated by wearing leather gloves. I love to see gals who appear on the streets wearing edgy leather gloves embellished with metallic studs. Anyway, next essential that I wanted to mention is footwear. It’s very important to buy the ones that will cozy your feet up. Choose the ones lined with sheepskin or any other fur. Choose from ankle-boots to knee-high and thigh-high boots. My favorites are Uggs boots that look casual, but they are extremely warm. Anyway, let’s speak about clothes. How about keeping things edgy by wearing leather trousers? You can either choose tailored leather trousers or skinny, leggings-like version. The skin-tight version is ideal for creating layered looks. Speaking of tops, then you better go for a knitted sweater, turtleneck, poncho that can be worn with your typical Winter outfits. I love to see ladies who appear on the streets wearing turtlenecks, as they give you warmth and serve like scarves, saving your neck from cold winds. If you want to wear a skirt, then let it be made of thick knits. The knitted skirts look feminine and cold weather friendly. The last thing that I wanted to mention is a coat. This is a must-have for your winter wardrobe. Sure, you can either choose classic styles made of fur, wool or leather, but there are awesome puffer down coats and great military-inspired parkas.
